Scott Myers
Latest Show Bio
Scott Myers (Victor Von Frankenstein/Ensemble) - Considering that Scott grew up as a kid collecting Famous Monster magazines and building Aurora monster models, it should not come as a surprise that he is playing the role of the original Dr.Frankenstein (with the original pronunciation by the way). On stage you may have seen him recently at Community Players as the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof and/or as one of the dads in Mamma Mia. You also may have seen him in our production of Holiday at Robinhood Lane or in The Holiday Spectacular at the BCPA. Offstage he may have been the one to lead you on The Evergreen Cemetery Walk, or on a spooky tour of Duncan Manor. Scott was a Unit Five teacher and principal for 42 years before retiring and moving on to Illinois State University as an Assistant Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, but his love for the theater continued with over 40 productions under his belt locally including (coincidentally) a stint as a zombie in an independent film. He considers the role of Victor von Frankenstein as one of his “dream” roles!
