Synopsis
The story of a New England woman who manages to get the better of a flashy bootlegger in a dramatic battle of wits. This play, though primarily a study of human beings, is also the dramatic story of the struggle of a woman to maintain her independence in the face of difficult odds.

In addition to the two night run for the play, Community Players also performed “Ned McCobb’s Daughter” on Wednesday evening November 5, 1930, at the Central Theatre in Fairbury under the auspices of the Fairbury High School Alumni Association.
