Community Players

Come out to Duncan Manor October 13/14 and 20/21 and step back in time as we collaborate with the Community Players Theatre to take you on a guided walk through the life of William Duncan and his family. See how they lived in 1868 and learn a little more about the man who created Duncan Manor. Tours will be approximately 20 minutes long from 6pm to 11pm. Because of this, tickets are limited to 8 in a group every 15 minutes. We ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour time slot. Reservations strongly recommended! $25 All-Access pass includes admission, tour at reserved time, music barn, haunted trails and more. Community Players is looking for a Director and Producer for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performance dates are July 6-8, 12-15 &19-22, 2018. Community Players’ 95th Season Begins with Arthur Miller’s All My Sons by Bob McLaughlin and John Lieder Community Players’ 2017-2018 season starts with a classic play of high drama and deep secrets. After his first play, The Man Who Had All the Luck, failed on Broadway, Arthur Miller turned to fiction, publishing one novel, Focus, before hearing a story from his mother-in-law about a woman in Ohio who turned in her own father for fraud in his defense plant.  This inspired him to write a new play, originally titled The Sign of the Archer, but eventually becoming All My Sons. Miller set his play in Ohio, where, before the action of the play begins, Joe Keller and his partner in a manufacturing plant were arrested for selling defective airplane parts to the navy.
