Announcing the Shows of our 99th season! After over a year of social distancing, virtual/live-streamed performances, at-home recordings and an incredible amount of patience from our board, volunteers and patrons, we are thrilled to announce that the wait is over and LIVE THEATRE IS BACK! Community Players Theatre will be returning to a regular season format for our 99th season (2021-2022), which opens in September this year with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Details of audition requirements and safety protocols will be announced as we get closer to each show. Because guidelines and recommendations are still changing rapidly, please keep an eye out on our Facebook page and here on our website for updates. Season tickets will be available for purchase online soon, and you don't want to miss out!

Mark your calendars for CPT's upcoming members meeting! CPT's Annual Members Meeting is coming up on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at 6pm. The meeting will take place virtually via zoom. An official meeting agenda will be emailed to those registered to attend the meeting, however we will be discussing CPT's upcoming virtual shows, our plans for the house renovation, and will vote for those running for the Board of Governor positions up for election.   We know this year has been challenging and the Covid-19 precautions have not allowed us to bring theatre to the community in the traditional ways, but we have exciting plans for the reminder of 2021 and are hopeful that our stage will be full of life again sooner rather than later.

Community Players Theatre is in search of a director for our upcoming show, "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon"! SHOW DETAILS: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (one-act version) Stay-At-Home Edition by Don Zolidis The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads and catapulted online in this fast-paced, rollicking ride. Two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories, ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like Faithful Johannes. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of madcap fun. This all-new Stay-At-Home version of the hit Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon was written specifically for actors and audiences to experience on video chat.
