Synopsis

“The Gift of the Magi” tells the classic O. Henry short story, through music and lyrics, of the young couple in New York on Christmas Eve 1905, who loved each other so much that each sold his most prized possession to buy the other a Christmas present. Their special gifts bring a touching reaffirmation of their unselfish love.

Historian’s Corner

The eighth annual “Holiday On Robinhood Lane” production was a O’Henry classic short story told in musical form, “The Gift of the Magi.” The show ran for two weekends and had as a corporate sponsor Realty Plus. This two-person musical was enhanced with a seven member cast of Christmas Carolers.
