The beloved 1946 Christmas film that starred Jimmy Stuart and Donna Reed was recreated on Player’s stage with sound effects as well as actors performing multiple parts and the audience as a studio audience, just as it was done during the Golden Age of Radio.
This was the second time that Players performed a radio play with the play. The first time was the musical “The 1940’s Radio Hour” during the 1998 season.
