Historian’s Corner

“Holiday on Broadway” was the beginning of the “Holiday on Robinhood Lane” series of original scripts, featuring Broadway favorites and Christmas music over a three-night run. This series was presented for several seasons. The show was called a “Musical Christmas Card from The Community Players.”

Proceeds from all performances of “Holiday on Broadway” went to help finance new seats for the theatre. The ‘Buy-A-Seat’ campaign had been ongoing since the Presidency of Larry Connolly. “Holiday on Broadway” made a $4,000.00 profit toward the new seats.
