Shelbee Taylor (Tommy Boy/Oscar Delancy/Fight Captain) is delighted to be returning to the CPT stage for Newsies after her debut in the ensemble of Mamma Mia! She is no stranger to the stage, for she has been performing since age three and acting since sixth grade. Besides her excursions in Bloomington-Normal, Shelbee’s other recent credits include Katherine in Newsies (Urbana Park District, 2022), Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Unity High School, 2021), and Julie/Amy in Theory of Relativity (Unity High School, 2021). Shelbee is currently attending Columbia College Chicago to study Musical Theatre in the hopes of pursuing a professional career on the stage after her graduation. She would like to send a big thanks to the cast and crew for all of their hard work and dedication to making this show the best it can be. Newsies forever!
