Mia Katz (Candy) knew from the moment she first read One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest that she had to play Candy. This sweet hearted and eccentric woman serves as a much needed relief to the men trapped in the system, bringing a small dose of excitement to an otherwise dreary existence of rules and regulations. Mia was most recently seen as Shelby in John Proctor is the Villain at UIS Springfield, co-starring with Cuckoo’s director Jeff Ready, as well as starring as Olivia Rivers in Puffs at Cornstock Theatre in Peoria. Mia recently made her film directorial debut with Return of the Corn Zombies, which will be released 2025.
