Lynne Christian (Truvy Jones) was born in the Panama Canal Zone, the middle daughter of an Army family. Her military upbringing taught her to enjoy meeting new people and embrace new experiences. Eventually settling in Louisiana where her parents were born and raised, she lived there for 30 years before her career with State Farm landed her in Bloomington where she’s lived with her husband Greg for the past 18 years. Her southern roots run deep and the accent you’ll hear is genuine and can be attributed to the strong ties she maintains with friends and family from the South. Her blended family includes 4 children and 5 precious grandchildren. She’s now enjoying retirement and has more time for her hobbies which include reading, playing piano, singing, cooking, and collecting friends! Steel Magnolias is not only her favorite movie of all time, it’s now allowing her to try theater for the first time and check “acting onstage” off her bucket list.
