Show Bio

Leah Megli (Adult Ensemble) has only been back in Bloomington for about a year after spending nine years working in Charleston, SC, and she is having a great time getting to work with CPT! A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan’s School of Music, Leah is a current vocal student of Scott Flaherty (vocal consultant- Prince of Broadway, Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis) and has been a vocal department accompanist at Charleston Southern University, as well as an actor, director, and music director for various regional productions across the Lowcountry. Recent productions include Cabaret (MD) and Evil Dead the Musical (MD) with WhatIf? Productions, Company (MD and Jenny) and Godspell (MD and Uzo) with Midtown Productions, Dogfight (MD) and Sweeney Todd (MD) with Village Repertory Company, The Last Five Years (MD) and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (MD) with Footlight Players, and Guys and Dolls (Director) and The Addams Family, Young@Part (Director) with Musical Theatre Center. She has also spent several summers as MD for Town of Normal Summer Theatre for shows including Les Miserables Student Edition, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Oliver! and High School Musical. Love having this excuse to dive into all kids of fun holiday for three months!
