Jim Kalmbach (Assistant Director) first appeared on the Community Players' stage as Josiah Bartlett in Sally Parry's 1997 production of 1776. Twenty-seven years later, he is delighted to be back, this time serving as the Assistant Director for I Hate Hamlet.  He is retired from the English Department at Illinois State and spends his time doing Tai Chi, playing bridge, singing in two choirs, and doting on his three-year-old grandson.
