Diane Efaw Gunz (Mrs. Jacobi/Nunzio/Goon) is a hometown girl. This is her second show with Community Players. She was in the ensemble of Jesus Christ Superstar until opening night, but unable to perform due to an injury. She is looking forward to seeing this show through to the end. Previous roles include: Berthe (Pippin) and Sizzlean (Pigs Just Want to Have Fun) as well as ensemble roles in Godspell and Guys and Dolls. She just completed her 30th year of teaching and celebrated her retirement, but accepted a position teaching at ISU. She wants to thank the production staff for giving her another chance to get on stage. She also wants to thank her two boys Caleb and Keaton for encouraging her to keep trying.
