The safety of our patrons, volunteers, cast, and crew is of the utmost importance to us. Our policy for Steel Magnolias rehearsals/performances and for Jesus Christ Superstar auditions will be as follows:

Patrons:

  • When attending a show, masks are optional, but strongly encouraged.
  • We reserve the right to increase masks requirements, based on current county risk levels.

Actors:

  • Must be fully vaccinated (as according to the CDC) to audition.
  • During auditions, masks are strongly encouraged, but it is up to the director’s discretion with mandatory 6 foot minimum social distancing, for example, if needing to see facial expressions, etc.
  • Actors will be fully masked during rehearsals.
  • Masks can come off when onstage during tech week and performances. Masks will still be worn backstage.
  • Weekly COVID testing begins once masks come off.
  • COVID testing will also be triggered by events in which masks are not worn (e.g. headshots, promo photos, etc.). Tests must be submitted prior to these events occurring.

Production Staff:

  • Must be fully vaccinated (as according to the CDC) to participate.
  • Will be masked at all times.
  • COVID testing will be triggered by events in which masks are not worn (e.g. headshots, etc.). Tests must be submitted prior to these events occurring.
Those who have already purchased tickets to Steel Magnolias as of 8/1/2022 will be contacted via email by the box office about this change in policy. If you no longer wish to attend a performance due to the lifting of the previous mask requirement, please contact [email protected] by 8/15 in order to receive a refund.
Future shows in our 100th season will be evaluated as the performance dates get closer.
